NEW ROUTE 985 BETWEEN CRONULLA & MIRANDA, VIA WOOLOOWARE BAY & CARINGBAH - Effective Sunday 20 November

Woolooware Bay to get 272 new weekly bus services

From 20 November, a new bus service in Sydney’s South will provide an additional 272 trips per week to cater for the new Woolooware Bay residential development.

New service route 985 will provide 272 trips per week running between Miranda and Cronulla via Caringbah and Woolooware Bay.

The new route has been funded as part of the Government’s Growth Services Program, which provides for new and additional services across Sydney and surrounding areas.

Route 985 is being introduced to cater for growth in customer demand that is expected due to the development of Woolooware Bay. The bus service will provide customers with access to train services, shopping and medical precincts in Cronulla, Caringbah and Miranda. Services will run every 30 minutes during weekday peak periods and hourly during off peak times, evenings and on weekends.
